Visiting any church for the very first time can be a tough experience. Questions arise such as: What do they have for my children? What is the dress code? Am I expected to give? When are the services? We want to put you at ease. Your first visit to Anchor Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. We want you to experience helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.
What is here for my kids?
There is something here at Anchor Baptist for every age. For three years and under, we have a safe and friendly nursery. For children four years old through fifth grade, there are fun, Bible-centered classes on Sunday morning and Friday evening. Our middle and high school students meet during the Sunday School hour and for youth group on Friday evening as well.
How should I dress?
There is not a dress code at Anchor Baptist Church for members or guests.
Am I expected to participate in the offering?
We don’t invite you to Anchor Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm spirit, truth from God’s Word, and a place where you can grow in God’s grace. Please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.
Who should I reach out to if I have questions about the church?
You can call us any time at 269-637-4202 or reach out to our administrative assistant and youth director, Gregory Wood, at email@example.com. We would be glad to answer any and all questions you may have.
