The answer is yes, there are human fossils...but as far as we can tell, the human fossils are NOT from the flood time period. Personally, I don't expect anyone to find any from the flood (or from before the flood). Could God have put Noah and company into a hybernation? He could...but I don't think He did. Genesis does not go into a lot of detail about Noah's life on the Ark, but does record that Noah opened the window, and sent out a Raven, and then a dove several times. He was at least awake for this :) Are we as Christians today in hybernation? I'll admit that I have no idea what this question is about. If this is based on an existential (Matrix-style) belief that we are living dreams, I would be against that. Our lives are very much reality. The lives we live are neither fake, imagined, nor immaterial. If you mean "are we spiritually asleep," to that I would also say no...we are very much spiritually aware, albeit ignorant, fallen, and many are deceiving themselves by claiming "there is no God" (Rom. 1:18-25)... God's condemnation is not against the reptile, but the advesary the snake represents. Some have concluded that the snake used to have legs, and God's curse was about leg removal. Actually, this is likely not the case. Eating dust is common in Scripture for personal humiliation (Ps. 72:9, Isa 49:23, Mic. 7:17). This reptile is responsible for man's demise, and its diet will be a constant reminder (as man becomes dust in death). Same with crawling on its belly, a sign of humiliation. What did the serpent do before? Again, it's about Satan here...he will be humiliated in every way possible. As for angels taking form...the only form we know of is human in form. Otherwise, angels are very ... well ... creepy looking (multiple faces, multiple wings, etc. as seen in Isaiah 6, Rev. 4, etc.). Why are Cain and Abel not in the genealogy?
